Simon is the owner of SDB Odd Jobs and has many years of hands-on experience across a wide range of handyman and property maintenance services.
His skill-set covers both indoor and outdoor work, including general repairs, installations, garden maintenance, and ongoing property upkeep. Over the years, Simon has built a strong reputation for delivering dependable, high-quality work tailored to each customer’s needs.
Simon is known for his reliable, friendly approach and attention to detail, taking pride in completing every job to a high standard. Whether it’s a small fix or a larger project, he approaches every task with the same level of care and professionalism.
He is committed to providing a trustworthy service, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, while making sure every customer is fully satisfied with the end result.
Francis Gordon-Alleyne
Chartered Horticulturalist
Francis Gordon-Alleyne is a fully qualified Chartered Horticulturalist with over 50 years of experience in horticulture and gardening.
His extensive career spans both commercial horticulture and education, giving him a deep understanding of plant care, soil health, and garden management. Francis has worked across a wide range of areas, including the production of salad and flower crops, as well as nursery stock such as trees, shrubs, and bedding plants.
Alongside his commercial work, Francis has spent many years as a horticultural lecturer and curriculum leader, teaching plant and soil science, pruning techniques, and horticultural skills to a wide range of learners.
He has also been involved in award-winning projects at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, contributing to multiple medal-winning gardens, as well as achievements at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show.
With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for horticulture, Francis brings expert insight to every garden, helping customers achieve healthier plants and better outdoor spaces.
